Free, no obligation survey.
Treatment options.
£150 for 3 visits (approximately 1 week apart) using rodenticide. Indoor use only.
£50 per visit using traps only - inside or outside. Traps MUST be inspected daily. This is a legal requirement.
Sometimes I may catch multiple squirrels at different times in one day. If this happens, each extra visit (after the £50 main visit fee) will cost £25.
For this I will return, take the squirrel away and leave another trap in its place if required.
Occasionally a non-target species may be accidentally caught in a live-catch trap eg. rat, field mouse, bird. If this occurs a small charge of £20 will be made to cover costs of releasing/removing it on the same day.
Larger sites are subject to survey and a price increase to cover the cost of extra traps/rodenticide and time.
I will also give you proofing advice where appropriate. Small proofing jobs may be completed if possible for an extra charge.

Grey squirrels are invasive, non-indigenous pests. In the U.K. they are contributing to the decline of our native red squirrel, eating wild bird's eggs, damaging trees, plants and gardens. In a loft or attic they can cause a lot of expensive damage very quickly, chew wood and electric wires, cause fires and be aggressive towards people.
I can trap squirrels inside and outside your property depending on the survey.
It is illegal to release a grey squirrel when it is caught and the penalties for this are severe.
I use powerful and humane traps in specialised safety boxes to catch and remove the squirrels from your property. These boxes are made to stop the entry of non target animals such as cats. Either way the squirrel MUST be culled once caught.
Once in place I will return between sunrise and sunset to check the traps - this is a legal requirement. Re-infestation, alternative food sources or trap shyness may prolong the period it takes to remove them.

This squirrel was caught with a Mk 4 Fenn trap inside a tunnel that was baited with chocolate spread and wheat. The design of the box meant the squirrel would be secured around the neck area ensuring the quickest and most humane kill. Spring traps like this have to be checked at least once a day.
